Boo Jakarta!

HALLOWEEN PARTIES GALORE!!

We had a wonderful Halloween celebration this year, complete with FOUR different Halloween parties!  First was a family Party at the American Club.

The Super Family finds their way to Jakarta!

We went to the American Club Halloween event with the Fabulous Parker family!

The American Club's car version of trick-or treating is called "Truck or Treat!"

Gotta love Kara's Trunk or Treat decorations!

Horay Superheros!
Then Darren and I went to Leah's Adult Costume party, which had some great costumes!!

The two Elvis's!

Dolly!

Our friends Kelly and Steve and some of their friends dressed up as the band, KISS!!

With our friends Annie and Derrik (under the horse's head). Giddy up!
Love the gruesome costumes - our friend Chevy and her husband.

Your choice here was to do a shot of Tequila, or get electrocuted!

NEXT, THE KIDS WERE INVITED TO A PARTY AT THEIR FRIEND'S, LILLY AND ROHAN'S HOUSE:

Natasha and good friends Tilly and Emily.

Friends Lilly and Rohan had a very fun Halloween Party!

AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST, TRICK-OR-TREATING IN OUR COMPOUND . . .

The kids and I with our incredible nanny, Sukini.
Adorable costumes by our friends Melissa and son Konrad.

Natasha with one of her first friends in Jakata, back from our days at Hotel Kristal - Eva.

Gobs and Gobs of kids in our compound, getting ready to go trick-or-treating!
We had over 250 trick-or-treaters!

(Cowboy) Konrad's mom is American and his father is Danish, but since he's lived abroad all his life, he doesn't really know about trick-or-treating, so we were very happy to have him come
along with us!

Darren (going as a Michigan fan) and friend Fredrik enjoyed watching the kids
trick-or-treat.

One of my creative neighbors who didn't want to pay sky-high prices for a pumpkin ($70-$80!!) carved two watermelons instead! He called it a Jakarto-lantern!

We are grateful to our nanny Sukini, who handed out candy at our house, while we went trick-or-treating. She, and our driver Hadi (right) and security guard Marwadi had a lot of fun participating in this crazy, American holiday of Halloween!
Natasha counts the goods!

Logan counting his loot!

Ahhhhhhh, the riches of Halloween!! I'm planning to offer to buy the candy back from the kids. We'll see if they take it!
